How Can I Obtain A Job In Australia?

 

 

 You can travel to Australia and waste a lot of time searching for a suitable job, often knocking on many doors until/if you find one and hopefully it will be legitimate with all the conditions you want. Generally this is time consuming, very expensive and extremely risky - especially in the current economy!

 

­OR you can employ International Services and The GlobalWork & Travel Co. to do all the hard work for you. All you do is choose the employer you like most, step off the plane and walk into your new job and benefit from having full agency support whilst in Australia!

 

 

 

How Much Does The Complete Program Cost?

International Services and The GlobalWork & Travel Co. provide job placement services to approved applicants. The service includes resume analysis and advice, interview preparation and access to secured employment options in Australia.

You will, however, need to cover the costs of your travel arrangements, such as your airfares, travel insurance and we know from experience & research that using a secure package to organize your “Work and Travel” abroad experience always works out a lot cheaper than doing it yourself. Your Working Holiday Visa is an additional $230.00 and is paid directly to the Australian Consulate.

How Do I Get Started With the Australian Work & Travel Program?

Send us your current resume together with the attached completed and signed Application Form.

Then you will be contacted by an International Services Consultant to discuss your application.

 

 

 

If you get accepted into the program, you will need to send a deposit of 300 Euros towards your Local Travel Package, as explained on the phone by your Consultant.


Why Do I Need to pay my deposit first?

Your deposit shows us and our employers that you are serious about travelling to Australia and helps them to schedule the start of your employment with their seasonal staffing needs.

 

What Happens Next?

International Services will then contact you to confirm your acceptance & preferences. We may also request further details from you in order to boost your employment options.

 

 

 

 International Services and The Global Work & Travel Co. will coordinate and organize phone or video interviews with employers that are interested in you until you choose the one that suits you the best. Within 2 weeks of coming onboard, a progress payment of 650 Euros will be required by The Global Work & Travel Co.  which comes off your Work & Travel Australia package.

 

After your interview, you let us know whether or not you are interested in the position offered and the employer will do the same. The employer will usually issue a written job offer that outlines your wages, holiday entitlements, responsibilities, contract period, etc. That way there is no misunderstanding and you know exactly what to expect!

 

Once you confirm the position offered, you will be required to pay the balance of the program.

 

Whilst the above is taking place, one of our Placements Officers will assist you in applying for your Working Holiday Visa if needed (This is an additional expense of Aus$230 paid directly to the Australian Consulate) and you will be given access to the online training module to complete your Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate, a legal requirement to sell and serve alcoholic beverages in Australia..

 

What Happens When I Arrive In Australia?

After flying into Brisbane International Airport you will be picked up and transferred by private coach to your initial accommodation on the Gold Coast. Our office is only walking distance away where our Australian staff will be looking forward to meeting you in person, assisting in opening your bank account & applying for your Tax File Number. At the same time you will receive your Australian cell phone and access pass for your local land & water sightseeing tour. Usually after your included initial 5 nights’ accommodation, you will commence your new job, whilst having the on-going support from our Australian office.
